From a kitchen experiment to a community roastery.

Plain Sight Coffee began in 2015, when Sean Lee turned a family kitchen project into a roasting journey. With limited access to resources and little guidance in the local scene, Sean taught himself through books and hands-on experimentation. What started with small-batch roasting in the kitchen soon moved into the family garage, where the demand from friends and early clients kept growing.

As word spread, Plain Sight outgrew its garage setup and eventually moved into its own roastery — a dedicated space where sourcing, roasting, and training could take place under one roof. From those humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a brand trusted by over 200 cafés, restaurants, hotels, and offices across Manila.

Through every stage, one thing has remained constant: our mission to make coffee more approachable, more consistent, and more connected to the culture and communities we serve.
