DESCRIPTION

Sleepyhead Decaf is designed for moments when you want the comfort of coffee without the lift of caffeine. It’s built to feel familiar and satisfying, not like a compromise.

This blend uses a Brazilian coffee chosen for its natural sweetness and body. The coffee is decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, which removes up to 99% of caffeine without the use of chemical solvents. The goal is to preserve as much of the coffee’s original character as possible, so the cup still feels complete and grounded.

In the cup, Sleepyhead Decaf leans warm and steady. Expect cocoa-forward flavors with a gentle sweetness and a rounded body. Acidity stays low, making it easy to drink and forgiving across brew methods. The profile is calm and comforting, designed for evening cups or slower moments when you don’t want stimulation getting in the way.

Sleepyhead’s role is clear. This is a dependable decaf option that still tastes like coffee, not an afterthought. It performs well as an espresso, holding structure and sweetness, and works just as comfortably as a pour-over or French press. If you’re looking for a decaf that fits naturally into your routine, Sleepyhead is designed to do exactly that.

At Plain Sight, we believe that getting your coffee to you at the right time provides for a great brewing experience. We make sure that you'll get your coffees not more than 10 days from the roast date, ensuring the right amount of time for you to try it out without it being too fresh off the roast. We recommend brewing the coffee 7 days from roast and flavors will peak around 2-4 weeks from roast

COFFEE ORIGIN

Brazil

Brazil, the world's top coffee producer, offers a wide variety of flavors, from rich Robusta to milder Santos and unique Rio Minas beans. Major regions like Espirito Santo and Minas Gerais use advanced methods, including mechanical harvesting, but are now focusing on quality. This shift means better-tasting coffee for consumers, with farms increasingly prioritizing flavor and offering specialty options, ensuring a delicious cup every time.
