Fine Robusta

DESCRIPTION

Grown in Sitio San Roque, Bukidnon, this Fine Robusta highlights the depth and potential of locally produced Philippine coffee. Carefully cultivated and naturally processed by smallholder farmers in the region, it offers a profile that moves far beyond what Robusta is typically known for.

Coffee from Sitio San Roque has gained recognition from international roasters and retailers, becoming a quiet but proud representation of Filipino coffee on the global stage. The region’s climate and growing conditions allow for a cleaner, more structured cup, one that emphasizes sweetness and balance rather than harshness.

Roasted at Plain Sight to a medium profile, this Fine Robusta delivers rich notes of hazelnut, chocolate wafer, and black tea. The body is medium and rounded, with a comforting, nutty sweetness that carries through the finish. While it shines as an espresso or French press, pour-over drinkers will find it surprisingly expressive and easy to enjoy.

This is a grounded, approachable coffee. Local in origin, confident in character, and thoughtfully roasted to let Bukidnon speak for itself.

At Plain Sight, we believe that getting your coffee to you at the right time provides for a great brewing experience. We make sure that you'll get your coffees not more than 10 days from the roast date, ensuring the right amount of time for you to try it out without it being too fresh off the roast. We recommend brewing the coffee 7 days from roast and flavors will peak around 2-4 weeks from roast
