Singer-songwriter Clara Benin has partnered with specialty roaster Plain Sight Coffee for an exclusive collaboration blend inspired by her upcoming EP, Really Got Me Thinking. The collaboration will be celebrated through an intimate live performance and meet-and-greet on April 26, 2026 at Plain Sight HQ in Mandala Park, Mandaluyong City.
Sometimes music has the power to inspire quiet reflection. The kind that makes you revisit life’s most important moments and lingers throughout the day even as the last note fades. For many listeners, that feeling is inseparable from the voice of Clara Benin.
Inspired by themes of warmth and quiet intimacy found in the EP, the collaboration blend, This Must Be Home, features notes of chocolate, raisin, and soft brown spice. Created to celebrate the upcoming launch of her newest EP, Really Got Me Thinking, we asked Clara to walk us through her creative process and how it manifested in this collaboration.
At 13 years old, Clara picked up a guitar and began exploring the world of music.
“I used to spend hours in my bedroom covering my favorite songs and eventually I started writing my own songs. Not long after, I taught myself how to record and produce my music at home.
A decade later, Clara has built a reputation in the Filipino indie-folk scene as a singer-songwriter best known for her heartbreaking lyrics and angelic voice. Her latest EP is a reflection of her signature sound with a subtle twist.
“I’m mostly known for writing sad heartbreak songs, so this EP feels a little different for me. It’s a collection of love songs, which was both exciting and a bit unfamiliar territory. All of the songs started with me and my acoustic guitar. From there, my producer, The Ringmaster came in and helped bring them to life by adding these beautiful soundscapes that really elevated the emotions of each track.”

As a coffee enjoyer herself, Clara took inspiration from her hit song Cinnamon Coffee to create a chocolate-forward blend with soft spices.

“This experience came at such a perfect time! I actually have a song on the EP called Cinnamon Coffee which is a song about warmth, comfort, and the quiet kind of love that feels like home. It’s like an extension of the song where the flavors reflect that same softness and warmth.”
The collaboration will be celebrated on April 26, 2026 at Plain Sight Coffee HQ in Mandala Park, Mandaluyong City. Two intimate sessions will be held, limited to 50 guests each. Attendees received a 200g bag of This Must Be Home, Clara’s Cinnamon Coffee, access to a special live performance of Really Got Me Thinking, and a meet-and-greet with Clara Benin.
