Panama Elida Estate

Panama Elida Estate

ELDERFLOWER · STRAWBERRY · LANGKA

Elida Estate is a single origin coffee from Boquete, Panama, selected to highlight clarity, sweetness, and a distinctly aromatic profile. It’s a coffee built for slower brewing and attentive drinking, where nuance and balance matter more than intensity.

Grown at Elida Estate in the highlands of Boquete, this coffee benefits from the region’s cool climate and high elevation. The estate’s location near Volcán Barú creates conditions that allow coffees to mature slowly, contributing to layered flavors and a more refined structure. This lot is naturally processed and of the Catuai varietal, chosen for its ability to express sweetness and fruit-forward character when handled carefully.

In the cup, Elida Estate is light and expressive. Expect floral notes of elderflower, followed by fresh strawberry and a tropical sweetness reminiscent of langka. The body is light, with a clean structure and a lively but controlled acidity that keeps the cup bright without becoming sharp. Sweetness carries through from start to finish, giving the coffee a soft, rounded feel despite its lighter roast.

Elida Estate’s role is to showcase a more delicate, origin-driven experience. Best enjoyed as a pour-over or AeroPress, it’s designed for drinkers who appreciate clarity, aromatics, and a slower pace at the cup.

At Plain Sight, we believe that getting your coffee to you at the right time provides for a great brewing experience. We make sure that you'll get your coffees not more than 10 days from the roast date, ensuring the right amount of time for you to try it out without it being too fresh off the roast. We recommend brewing the coffee 7 days from roast and flavors will peak around 2-4 weeks from roast
