Dayglow
Dayglow
TROPICAL FRUITS · NOUGAT · DRIED ORANGE
Dayglow is our lightest roasted blend to date, created to highlight brightness, sweetness, and clarity. It’s designed for drinkers who enjoy a lighter profile that feels expressive without tipping into sharpness or excess acidity.
This blend combines a fruity Brazil with a fully washed Ethiopia. The Brazilian coffee provides sweetness and structure, grounding the cup and keeping it approachable. The Ethiopian component brings lift and complexity, contributing brightness and aromatic depth. Together, they create a profile that’s light on the palate but clearly defined.
In the cup, Dayglow presents a lighter body with pronounced sweetness and lively acidity. Expect notes of tropical fruits layered with soft nougat, finishing with a citrus character reminiscent of dried orange. The acidity is clean and refreshing, giving the coffee energy without feeling aggressive. As it cools, the flavors open up further, adding to the sense of clarity and warmth.
Dayglow’s role is focused. This is a blend for slower, more intentional brewing, best enjoyed as a pour-over where its aromatics and structure can fully develop. If you’re looking for a coffee that feels fresh, uplifting, and precise, Dayglow is designed to deliver exactly that.
At Plain Sight, we believe that getting your coffee to you at the right time provides for a great brewing experience. We make sure that you'll get your coffees not more than 10 days from the roast date, ensuring the right amount of time for you to try it out without it being too fresh off the roast. We recommend brewing the coffee 7 days from roast and flavors will peak around 2-4 weeks from roast

COFFEE ORIGIN
ETHIOPIA
Ethiopia, renowned for being coffee's birthplace, is cherished in the specialty coffee industry for its diverse flavors. This richness stems from genetic diversity among coffee varieties, unique processing methods, and traditional production practices. Even within similar growing conditions, flavors vary, making Ethiopian coffee exceptional. These factors collectively contribute to the high-quality coffee enjoyed worldwide.
Brazil
Brazil, the world's top coffee producer, offers a wide variety of flavors, from rich Robusta to milder Santos and unique Rio Minas beans. Major regions like Espirito Santo and Minas Gerais use advanced methods, including mechanical harvesting, but are now focusing on quality. This shift means better-tasting coffee for consumers, with farms increasingly prioritizing flavor and offering specialty options, ensuring a delicious cup every time.
