Ethiopia Adame
Ethiopia Adame
WHITE GRAPE HIBISCUS LIME
Adame is a single origin coffee from Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia, selected for its clarity, brightness, and clean structure. It’s a classic expression of the region, built around florals and citrus rather than weight or intensity.
Grown at high elevations in Yirgacheffe and made up of heirloom varietals, this coffee reflects the characteristics Ethiopia is known for. It’s fully washed, a process that emphasizes precision and definition in the cup, allowing individual flavors to come through clearly. Roasted lightly at Plain Sight, the goal is to preserve the coffee’s natural vibrancy rather than soften it.
In the cup, Adame is bright and expressive. Expect notes of white grape and lime, supported by soft floral tones reminiscent of hibiscus. The body is light and clean, with a lively acidity that feels crisp rather than sharp. Sweetness is present but restrained, giving the cup balance without dulling its clarity. As it cools, the coffee opens up further, revealing layered aromatics and a clean finish.
Adame’s role is to offer a textbook example of a bright, floral Ethiopian coffee. It’s best brewed as a pour-over or AeroPress, where its structure and aromatics shine, and also works well in a coffee maker for a clean, refreshing cup.
At Plain Sight, we believe that getting your coffee to you at the right time provides for a great brewing experience. We make sure that you'll get your coffees not more than 10 days from the roast date, ensuring the right amount of time for you to try it out without it being too fresh off the roast. We recommend brewing the coffee 7 days from roast and flavors will peak around 2-4 weeks from roast
