Ethiopia Oma Gesha
Ethiopia Oma Gesha
JASMINE · PEACH · ROSE · ORANGE · ZEST · PINEAPPLE
Plain Sight Coffee is proud to launch The Edit Collection, a curated series of rare and limited beans sourced from around the world. Each release is chosen for its exceptional quality and complex tasting notes that leave a refined experience in every cup.
Leading the collection is the Oma Gesha from Ethiopia. Made up of the Gesha 1931 varietal, expect tasting notes of jasmine, peach, rose, orange zest, and pineapple. Its vibrant acidity is balanced by high sweetness and a tea-like body.
Roasted to a light degree to preserve its layered tasting notes, the Oma Gesha highlights the strong aromatic florals and tropical fruit-forward qualities that make the Gesha varietal widely sought after.
Best enjoyed as a pour-over, Oma Gesha’s role is for moments of intentional brewing, inviting drinkers to slow down and appreciate the nuances in every cup.
Best for: Floral-fruity forward brews with citrus-like acidity
Recommended brew methods: Pour-over
At Plain Sight, we believe that getting your coffee to you at the right time provides for a great brewing experience. We make sure that you'll get your coffees not more than 10 days from the roast date, ensuring the right amount of time for you to try it out without it being too fresh off the roast. We recommend brewing the coffee 7 days from roast and flavors will peak around 2-4 weeks from roast
