Music and specialty coffee came together for a coffee date with Clara Benin at the Plain Sight HQ. The space transformed into an intimate venue where music took the center stage and each song struck a chord with the audience. Filled with the warmth of freshly roasted coffee, fans got an exclusive first listen of Clara’s upcoming EP, really got me thinking live. Beyond the live session, fans also had a personal meet & greet with Clara, transforming the event into a truly memorable experience.
Known for her soothing lyrics and angelic vocals, Clara’s music has a spot on late-night indie playlists when people are in their most reflective moments. With a decade of experience in the Filipino indie music scene, Clara has performed in global music festivals and has sold out theaters locally. But besides music, coffee is another aspect intertwined with Clara's daily life.
In an interview with Plain Sight Coffee, Clara explained she “can’t go a day without a cup of coffee! I usually have mine right after lunch.”
Guests had the opportunity to hear Clara perform her EP live for the first time by purchasing a bag of her exclusive specialty coffee collaboration blend, This Must Be Home. With tasting notes of chocolate, raisin, and soft brown spice, it’s a blend with a welcoming character meant for daily brewing. In addition, guests were served Clara’s Cinnamon Coffee, a drink inspired by a song of the same name in her EP!
“It made the collaboration feel so natural, like you can experience the song not just by listening, but in a more tangible way too,” Clara remarked.
Just like Clara’s music, this is a drink for people who look for warmth and depth in their coffee. It’s a drink best enjoyed during days when you need a bit of extra comfort.
